Video & Collaboration Services provides video production services for internal use and for-hire projects. Emphasis is on planning and production of educational and instructional videos. Video & Collaboration Services staff will assist in the planning of video productions, and can provide videography in either our TV production studio or on location. Post-production editing can be done either by VCS staff, with the assistance of VCS staff, or by others, with fully-equipped non-linear digital video editing systems, with graphics compositing, 2-D and 3-D motion effects, and music and sound effects as needed.
Videos produced by VCS are of near-broadcast quality, and can be edited into a final form on analog tape media (VHS or S-VHS tape), digital tape media (mini-DV, DV, DVCAM), or on DVD. These source videos can also be converted into computer-based videos for incorporation into Powerpoint presentations and into streaming media formats such as Real Video, Windows Media, and Quicktime.
Video Production (studio production, on-site video production, and post-production video editing) is billed at the rate of $50/hr., with a $50 per event setup fee, plus expenses.
