Creating an AdHoc Conference

- Use far-end camera control to select 'Create new conference'
- Press # to bring up the dial pad
- Enter a four digit conference number followed by #( i.e. 1234#). This can be any four digits that are not currently associated with a scheduled conference.
- Enter a PIN number for security. Leave it blank for no PIN. If you enter a PIN number participants will be prompted for it before they can join the conference. Press # when you are finished.
Get everyone connected to your conference
- To connect directly dial 783 + the four digit conference number i.e. 7831234
- To use the auto attendant dial 7830000 then use far-end camera control to find your conference
- To connect non-UF endpoints dial 128.227.156.83 plus seven digit conference number(i.e. 128.227.156.83 ext 7831234). How you dial an extension depends on the endpoint you have. For Polycom units try: 128.227.156.83##7831234 or you can dial 128.227.156.83 and use the far-end camera control to connect to the conference.
